Well my Vista Premium has been working great, however the only thing that isnt working is my tv tuner card. It is Leadtek's TV2000 XP Expert, and I have downloaded all the drivers and installed them. My computer knows its there because under my hardware>video etc. I see 3 seperate things for the card. My problem is that when I go into Media Center and ask it to setup TV it doesnt recognize any card. Also, the software that came with the card was built for XP and doesnt load. I dont even want to use the software with it, I would like to just use Media Center... ANY ideas on either how to get it to work, or check if it can?

PS: all the hardware is 'enabled' and when diagnosed it says it working properly.

just because the device is showing up in dev manager doesn't mean the drivers are correct...have you checked the manufacturer's website to check and see if their drivers are actually vista compatable?

Yes, they are the drivers specifically for Vista 32-bit, I guess I could try reinstalling them? What I have done currently is download them, then right click each of the 3 tv tuner hardware box's and manually given it the folder to where the drivers are, they seem to be loaded fine and it says their up to date. I dunno?

*I didnt hook up any lineout to my mobo, just realized that, could that make a diference? And for the computer to recognize these tv cards, I dont need cable plugged in do I?

I've got the identical prob with TV Expert 2000. I believe it a Leadtek/Winfast compatability issue. If anyone can help, it'll save me buying a new card.

Actually not exactly the same. The card plays TV with the supplied software, but with some issues (volume doesn't work properly, locks up when recording)..but it at least plays...
