Hi

I have just reinstalled windows xp home downloaded all my updates, installed avg and so on...
Now I have installed IE7 but it just wont load any web pages it just goes connecting....
So I downloaded firefox 2 but I still need IE7. I have reinstalled IE7 again but still no luck any suggestions ? :whistling:

One possible cause (was in my case):

Check the LAN settings in IE7 from 'Tools>Internet Options. Click 'Connections' tab. Click 'LAN Settings'. Make sure all three boxes are UNticked. Click OK. Restart IE7.

Obviously those settings depend on your type of connection, but if you have a straightforward cable or dsl access from home through an ISP, those boxes should be UNticked.

try clearing your browser's cache. Go to tools, click on internet options. Then where it says browsing history, click on delete. Then click delete all. Let us know if that clear's the issue.
