I'm looking for a good FREE dvd ripper. NO I'm copying movies that are copywrited movie. Only home videos and things.

Anyone have any ideas of what I can use?

Prevents you from copying commercial movies, just in case you are tempted one day.

I have used many dvd rippers. But there are not free. I'm very pleased to hear that Nero 7 can do this. I will download to try.

In my opinion, free software cannot work well, I use Imtoo dvd ripper platinum and feel better
Although it is a shareware, it worth every piece of my money

I prefer to use yasa dvd ripper platinum. It can rip dvd to avi wmv asf divx mpeg ipod psp mp4 etc. It is reliable and very easy to use.
