I recently changed to Vista 32bit with a new self build computer. I intended to use RAID 1 (mirror) as a back up but I screwed it up. My own fault probably due to impatience and lack of clarity in the Manual. I carried on and installed all my files and the good news is Vista is working OK and I'm pleased with it. My problem is I now have a spare empty HDD. I can't configure RAID as it would wipe my primary HDD, and I don't want to spend the time reinstalling everything. So how do I best use the second disk to back up my system? Can someone give me a rundown on my options and how best to go about transferring data over.

i think it's better to use 3d party backup prog, for example true image, the best backup prog IMO.
