There are several games that I have download to try out on a trial offer so I can decide if I want to purchase any of them, example, Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst, Huntsville, Prime Suspects and Mysteryville. All of these games are on the same order. Any way, I had downloaded one of these games and was waiting for it to load, when I got this all blue screen that said an Error had occurred. I hit the Enter key and it took me back to that game, was still waiting for this game to load and got this message: Hpqtra08 has caused an error in MPR.DLL. Can some tell me what is happening.

Thank you !!!

hpqtra08.exe is installed alongside the drivers for Hewlett Packard Imaging devices and installs an easy-to-use traybar icon for quick access to diagnostics. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling it is down to user preference.

I would go to Start, run, and type in msconfig. Go to the tab labeled startup. Look for hpqtra08.exe and deselect it. After you reboot the pc, there will be a dialog box that appears. This is just informing you that mscofig was used to make changes to your pc. Just deselect the check box to prevent it from reappearing.

Starjax;

I am NOT PC literate so can you give me instructions on how to go about uninstalling my printer driver. But is it really with my HP product and not with the different games I'm running, and if I uninstall will that have an effect on my printing ???
