It's spring, time to break out the ugly pants and pastel shirts and hit the links. What would spring and summer be without golf? We make business decisions on the green, we watch comedies like Happy Gilmore and Caddy Shack, we analyze Tiger Woods' perfect backswing, and challenge friends to 18 holes on the PS3 or Wii.
To celebrate the coming of golf season, we're teeing off with some of the most amusing and geeky golf gadgets we've seen to date.

http://www.segway.co..._i2_Police.html ...how could you not make fun of cops if you saw them riding one of these?

I would point and laugh. I don't care if they are cops.

I'd superglue the wheel to the axel while they were taking a leak.
And only one tire because it would be amusing to see them spinning in a circle like a retard.

I was looking at this: http://www.scoutgolf.com/
It states that it will find the ball if it is within 35 feet (that's putting distance) - I never lose the ones I hit less than 35 feet, it's the ones 300 yards away that sometimes elude me.
What a useless piece of junk and a waste of $179 (£90). You could lose over 100 balls before it paid for itself (price based on Titleist A1 lake balls on eBay).
I too liked the Dancing Dogg : http://www.dancindogg.com/ But I found the demo video a bit of a let down with the scowl of the pipes and the 3 stooges shaking their heads.

I wasn't really impressed by any of it. Except maybe the Segway, but they're old news. What's really annoying is that webpage. Did you notice how little of it is actual content (the little yellow hilighted box)? Not to mention the popup floater ad, and three clicks just to get to the slide show.To celebrate the coming of golf season, we're teeing off with some of the most amusing and geeky golf gadgets we've seen to date.
