Hi,

I am a new mac owner and recently bought photoshop elements 4.0. I was slowly starting to learn the program. However today when I opened up pse and went to my documents as usual to open a picture to work on, well, the picture size was HUGE. With the picture file open in photoshop the dimensions listed on the bottom of the photo are 28.44inches X21.33inches. This is what happens with any picture I try to open in photoshop. The dimensions change by an inch or two but all my picture files open up with these gigantic proportions. I don't recall changing any default settings or anything. The one thing that I can think of that I did the day before was download something called "Grants Tools" off the web. This is a free download that works with pse. Could there have been something in that download that messed up my photoshop program? It seems like a coincidence that directly after this download I started having these problems with picture dimensions.

I understand that I could probably change each picture dimension individually everytime I wanted to work on one but this doesn't seem acceptable. I was wondering if anyone out there has run across this happening to them or if there are any ideas as to how to get things back to normal in my pse program. I'm hoping that my lack of computer skills is really the problem and that there is a simple computer fix out there to take care of the problem.

Can anyone help?
Mary

As this is specific to PSE, you may get a faster response to your problem by posting on the official Adobe PSE forum:
