Do you have the latest sun java installed? Do you have a firewall thats in the way that might stop you from being able to connect?

Whenever I initially click on the "Live Chat" hotlink I get a delay and then it asks me to accept a download (cookie or something...I forget exactly what it says) from a Peunte Duents (sp?). I always click no don't accept. I will write down exactly what it says next time and post here. After clicking no don't accept it will allow me to log in and in the live chat box it shows my name but then I get the following message:
Unable to connect : java.security.AccessControlException : access denied (java.net.SocketPermission irc.wyldryde.org resolve)
How do I know if I have the lates Java? Is there a hotlink somewhere to get it?

I recommend that you actually read what is displayed before you click things.
Its not asking you to download anything, its asking you to accept a Digital Signature. Nothing is being downloaded to your computer, you are just allowing that application to run. Its safe.
If you don't click run, you can't use that feature. PS, the name on the signature is Philippe Detournay.

If I accept the applet it does seem to work.
Thanks.
Sorry for my ignorance. My message was saying it was a security warning and the certificate was issued by a company that is not trusted, so I answered no.
