Marketing, there is no such thing as a next gen game really they are just new games, elder scrolls 4 hasnt been out that long and most computers still cant run it at full setting 5 is gonna be a while there is gonna be a few new expansion i think.

Physx cards are a fad most of the new games have advanced physics but dont use physics cards because of the fact nobody uses them the new ATI cards allow the use of physics processes so they will probably be the main thing that gets physics in games more advanced but they dont really need it.
