I am quite sure I have been infected with some sort of virus.

What happens is that I turn on my computer and immediately received a message. The first read (with "hpqthb08.exe - Fatal error" as the title):

CLR error: 800700b.
The program will now terminate.

Nothing happened, I closed the window. Then, I restarted it the next day and got a message in Indonesian (what I presume it to be) that mentioned the words "virus" and "trojan", and said the email address [email protected] at the bottom. A bit of the text:

APA KABAR SEMUANYA LAM KENAL ^_^

Dengan hormat kapada bapak/ibu/saudara saya hormati di komputer ini.

Sebelumnya kami mohon maaf jika menggangu bapak\ibu\saudara atas tampilan ini.

It, too, is titled hpqthb08.exe but I have yet to click the only button that is available to click (which reads "Isi Sekarang," and there are no X or minimize or any other kind of buttons). I have yet to click it for fear it will activate something and won't until I have the problem removed and cleaned.

I have done nothing on the computer since, aside from open a couple of pictures and Notepad documents to see if everything is running ok (It was). McAfee detected nothing, and the only problem is that after I close a program (Notepad, for example), the image just stays there, but it isn't stuck as I can go on clicking other things. You can't close it or do anything to it, but it's still there.

Any ideas on what to do? I can provide a HijackThis log in a little while (The problem is with my laptop and I have to use the desktop with Internet to post, and I am being exiled). Should I uninstall McAfee and install Norton instead? Should I click the "Isi Sekarang" gray box?

Thanks muchly! :whistling:
