I noticed I have over 1,000 different win.tmp files in the TEMP file. What are these and are they harmful and how can I get rid of them?? I deleted some of them but they keep coming back and I did a search and found under the PREFETCH file listed: Perflib_Perfdata_760.dat is in C:\windows\Temp folder. I tried to delete the Prefetch file..but says "Cannot Delete File Perflib_Perfdata_760.dat : being used by another program "

It creates temp files in every minute and is irritating me.. i need help plz... thanks in advance
