still running compaq persario 6gb 256ram laptop on linux so I am wondering if anyone is using(must be daily that is) an older model than that, if so perhaps they would like tol reply here then with their reason why.

my reason, well there are many reasons but not to hog this thread the main one for me is that there is nothing like the old laptops for their sound quality and their volume range all the newer ones seem to need added speakers whereas this one just soulds great.

*ruthandtroy rips the prize laptop from fleamailman's hands and gives it to keithr128. Although fleamailman protests with a whimper, he is silenced with a stern look.

Mine is a desktop though, so we both win in separate categories. :whistling:

*ruthandtroy would like to point out that as an entrant, keithr128 has no say in the categories...

Why would anybody look under the bed? Everybody knows that's the boogieman's territory

Yes that's right, but when I was 8 I discovered that if you keep an old garden hose under the bed, it scares the boogieman and he moves out. It worked. My mum didn't like it :whistling: but when I told her what it did she said I was a genius. So spread the word, hopefully we can scare all the boogiemen around the world to leave and inhabit Mars...
