Hi,

I am looking for a simple photo sharing service, free if possible, now that yahoo photo is closing down. Does anyone use one that they would recommend - or want to warn me against any that are bad?

Thanks!

I like WebShots.com. They have a Tool Bar that you can install for IE as well as the Desk Top Manager. You can use the photos you download as screen savers and wallpaper. If you bring up the Photo Manager, you can login using it and view, rearrange, delete, move to another album, etc. all from it.

Flickr.com or SnapFish.com are ok, too.

For photos you may wish to upload and have URLs for (to embed into MySpace, web pages, etc.), I would recommend PhotoBucket.com or ImageShack.com because they allow animated gifts and provide you with all the codes you need to use.

You're very welcome. I really think WebShots is the best bet because of it's ease of use.

I signed up for Webshot free service and tried downloading some photos. Unfortunately, I downloaded the wrong photo into an album - the fuzzy shot instead of the clear shot - and am trying to delete it but can't find out how to do it and can't find an answer in the help section. Free members aren't allowed to write the help desk. Do you know how to delete a photo from an album?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have the Webshots Icon in the systray? Right-click and click on Photo Manager. Find your album under the Wallpaper and Screensavers tab, then the photo you want to delete. Just to the right you will see options to edit or delete.
