was using my pc, and boom!...nothing will work or shut down, and monitor keeps displaying "dpms off mode"...how to fix?...

dpms off mode

This simply means your monitor isn't receiving a signal from your computer, so it's switched to a power saving mode.

Why your computer isn't sending a video signal will require some troubleshooting. Does your computer seem to be loading when restarted?
