So I have to write about this experience that happened on my lunch break a short while ago. Here is the background, I have a Motorola Q phone from Verizon wireless. Well I woke up this morning and my phone would not unlock, every appointment in my calender was going off and no buttons worked.

So I decided to bite the bullet and bring it to the local office on my lunch. Here is the amazing part, I walked into the store, used a touch screen computer to sign in, no problems.
I was immediately called back to talk to the tech, I tell him the problem, purposely leaving out the information that my 16 month old son sometimes uses it as a frisbee.
He prints out a ticket and tells me to come back in 20 mins.
I leave get something to eat come back after 25 mins.
Didnt sign back in just walked up to the counter, showed my ticket and the tech hands me a new phone with a new battery all charged.
Says, well we couldnt get into the phone but I was able to transfer everything over except a couple downloaded backgrounds.
I say no problem, has me sign the ticket and he tells me to have a nice day.

I couldnt believe it no hassle no questions no anything but prompt courteous service. I was all revved up for an argument because dealing with these places can be such a pain. Anyways Im sure the phone is refurbed but still I was pleasently surprised.

Already in the last year Verizon has impressed me since I switched from Cingular which never billed me correctly, never had good service and always charged me for everything.

It was a nice treat and I though I would share my good luck with everyone else, and maybe if you are on the fence this will push you more towards Verizon wireless. :whistling:

Thats pretty [bleep] impressive customer service..! Here in the UK, they're useless.. Unless you have the original receipt, bank statement, I.D., all sorts... Then theres little chance of very much happening within about 2 months usually...! :whistling:

Reader's Digest report by Tony Randall:

He goes into a clothing shop and the owner goes nuts! "Tony Randall, cool. My wife loves.. etc., and et. al." He's so wowed that he picks up several shirts (they're his style) and starts to pay when he realizes he doesn't have enough cash, so he asks, "Will you take a check?" The owner says, "Got any identification?"
