i'm trying to build a private tcp/ip stack on windos xp using C.
the problem i'm facing is:when i send my 1st lcp packet after dail-up the isp responds to me with an extra byte.the packet i recived is:7e ff 00 03.....
why i'm i geting this extra 00.i'm opting for options 01,02,03,07, and 08
