I have been trying to install Vista updates for a couple of days, but get "this update does not apply to your system" messages every time. The updates are described here (http://www.extremete...,2177716,00.asp) as well as many other sites.

I have Windows Vista Business on a Sony Vaio SZVGN-SZ670N/C Notebook (Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7700 (2.4GHz, 4MB L2 cache, 800MHz Front Side Bus)

Doe snaybody have any suggestions?

Please read both of these updates and what they pertain to:

KB938979
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938979

KB938194
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938194

You have Vista Business ....don't bother with these updates (you can 'hide' them), your OS is not affected :whistling:
