I doubt you will ever have any problems if that is all the info you put on the Internet. If you do need to enter any real info like credit card, real address or other sensitive information, I would use (and do) something like RoboForm to enter this information each time and only after entering a master password to do so. Keeps Keyloggers from getting the info as I don't type anything when filling our forms. This only works if you have ensured that your computer is completely free of malware.
Personally, I never use my real name/address/personal info for filling out forms on the Internet unless required to make a credit card order.

The only other thing I put out there is sometimes my age, and the state that I live in.
PeopleLookUp.COM has almost all the people (mostly adults and people over the age of 21) are there.

I don't allow my kids (ages 7 & 8, 10 & 13) to use their given names, even though we use a PO Box, not a street address. There are just too many nuts out there! However, I use my own, and I've never had any problems. I don't even try to "hide" online. My websites will lead you right to me, and so will Google, Zabasearch, and who knows what else. If you are an adult, I think it's what YOU feel comfortable with. Minors should ask your parents what they prefer. (Parents sleep better if they think the kids are safe!)

My parents don't mind, and my name was put on a blog site, and my mom even wanted me to put my address on it and a picture so people could see the article I wrote. Hahaha!

*dsenette <----
i obviously don't have problems with it...but i'm old enough to handle the reprocussions of what could happen
there's a big stink in the internet world right now where some things that people have posted in places like myspace and other social networks have actually cost them jobs (either after being hired or before the interview)...so always remember that if it's on the internet..someone can find it...so if you wouldn't say it in public or to your mom...don't say it on the internet
