There is a problem that I have right now with firefox and it starts with the new update. I have no firewall client nor is it turned on, but whenever I click on firefox, no websites can be accessed at all, yet IE still works perfectly. I have tried various ways to rid of this problem such as uninstallin:reinstallin and system restorin to previous days but it still acts the same. Is there any way to get firefox back up and running?

Do you have 'Direct Connection to the Internet' toggled under Advanced > Network in the Options menu?

Try launching Firefox with the -ProfileManager switch, then delete your current profile, and create a new one.
