Given:
I cannot use the floppy drive;
I cannot burn a CD Rom.
I cannot install a USB port output device which requires software installation in the computer.
I cannot use a USB port flashdrive.
I cannot install any output device which requires installation in the computer, whether hardware or software.
[Please do not suggest that I overcome any of those above restrictions.]
There are USB ports on the computer.
There is a serial port.
There is a parallel port.
There is an ethernet port.
The operating system of the computer is XP.
The following ideas have occurred to me:
1. Putting a cable between this computer and another computer.
2. Running a cable from USB port to USB port (but can this be done without installing software on the original computer?).
3. Running a cable between printer parallel ports (same question).
4. Running a cable between series ports (same question).
5. Printing output to a storage device; then connecting that storage device to another computer and reversing the print output back to computer file (Can that be done).
6. Printing output to a print buffer box (if such exists).
7. Printing output to a print server box (but can I reverse the process back to another computer).
8. Printing output to a print spooler box (but can I reverse the process back to another computer).
9. Printing output to a print switch box (which box has a memory in it).
10. Somehow using the PRINT command from DOS to export the file (no software needed).
