ive ordered a new pc with windows vista and was just wondering if you could/ should install service pack 2 with it.

Howdy:

If you are referring to XP SP2, then no you can't. Totally different operating systems.

Microsoft has yet to offer an SP1 package for Vista let alone SP2.

I'm afraid SP2 is only on XP but if you wait a few months Vista will have SP1 released.
