Help,

kernel_task taking 82% of CPU just after start up. It has 50 threads showing in Activity Monitor. It is not the only root user taking up CPU. What can I do?

Part 2 - how do I remove all my person items and apps so IT can possibly clear computer (which may mean he'll just reinstall OS) - then add it back later?? I've added so many things to try (cause of the problem??) that I don't even remember what is "mine". Any suggestions?

Much thanks,
bamakodaker
