
Gmail problem

you say on your PC it's fine...is that logged into your GMail account or his? can he try logging on to his GMail account on your computer and see if the chat works there?

He tried to open HIS account from MY PC and it worked fine.

then it's something on his end i would imagine
follow these instructions on his computer...before running ATF make sure to close all open browsers and programs to be safe....once you're done try gmail again
Download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
This program is for XP and Windows 2000 onlyDouble-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browserClick Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
If you use Opera browserClick Opera at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
For Technical Support, double-click the e-mail address located at the bottom of each menu..
