Hi I bought a 4gb fob on ebay which vista will not recognise it comes back with error code 1 device not recognised I think. It works fine on XP and I'm afraid I can't tell who the manufacurer is. Any idea how to get vista to recognise it. Many thanks Eddie

Try formatting it on the XP machine. As it's 4Gb, XP should give you the option of formatting it with NTFS file system (in the 'File System' drop-down) so choose NTFS. When done, try it again on Vista.
