Hi I bought a 4gb fob on ebay which vista will not recognise it comes back with error code 1 device not recognised I think. It works fine on XP and I'm afraid I can't tell who the manufacurer is. Any idea how to get vista to recognise it. Many thanks Eddie :)

Try formatting it on the XP machine. As it's 4Gb, XP should give you the option of formatting it with NTFS file system (in the 'File System' drop-down) so choose NTFS. When done, try it again on Vista.
