Ok i have read the forums before i posted this topic.. i have a windows vista gateway laptop... its a gATEWAY MT3705 1 gig of ram windows vista 32bit.

I have been trying for many days now to try to burn an audio cd.

When i use winamp(the latest version), it tells me to please insert a blank recordable cd into the drive. A blank cd is already inside.

When i use roxio creator plus, it says no drive detected.

Any idea why??

In device manager, i have TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-L632D ATA Device

Install the latest drivers and try with say media player 11 if this doesn't work you should see your manufacturers support.
