Can anyone help me with 2 questions?

I taught myself microsoft access and can't figure 2 things out...

1. How can I make the startup screen of access be maximized at the begining?
(When I start it up it goes thru the process of a regular access project. I don't want to see the tool
bar or anything. I would like the screen to take up the whole area instead.)

2. How can I make it so another users use it if they don't have access on their computer?
(This one is not as big of a deal to me as #1 is)

Thanks everyone for your help.

Hey i am uncertain about this as i am just taking an Access class in college at the moment but i am curious what you mean by your question.

What is it that you want other users to use? You can use Visual Basic to allow users to utilize Forms and create Queries but obviously the user would have to have access to the database.

I have a program from a company that I used to own and the software person that wrote the program used access, however, I never had it on my computer at the time. He told me that it was all access with some VB code.

If this is true, how can I do it???

That i know of, either you use mstsc or something like that (but that would be as you were dealing from the server). I don't think you can install an access client only version...

Or you install a client to access your access database, but that would require a third party program or specific development "out of access".

If someone has better ideas...

To answer your #2 question... To run an MS Access application without having Access installed on the computer you will need a runtime version of Access. Until the release of Access 2007 this was a little more difficult. But with the release of 2007 you now have available.... for free... a runtime version of Access 2007. One warning, if your app was developed using a prior version of access your menus will be a little different..... the new ribbon...
Heres a link to the MS download
