Two months ago I purchased a new laptop running Visa Home Premium. I am now trying to install Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 and am having no luck. The Spyware portion of the program installs but nothing happens after that. A 30 day trial version of Norton Internet Security came with my laptop and I never installed it. I had to download the same trial version in order to be able to uninstall it. I installed the same version of Trend on my desktop machine running XP with no problems.

Welcome to Geeks To Go
please
click here and run the norton removal tool. Norton leaves stuff when it is uninstalled that may be stoppin your installation.

It appears I may have bigge problems as I can't install the Norton Removal Tool. As soon as I doouble click the icon on my desktop a Window pops up that says "Norton Removal Utility has stopped working".
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I had to reload the operating system from the recovery disc. Everything is working good now including Trend.
