Adob Audition 3 - Can it actually MAKE music?

I just downloaded Audition 3, and I'm wondering if I can actually make music. For example, can I use it to put a certain guitar riff in the background (I make the riff, select to put it in with guitar, select distortion, etc) or am I stuck with just editing a guitar track I already recorded? Thanks!
