iTunes can not connect

I upgraded to the latest iTunes this week and now can't connect. I've tried all the tips that I've seen on the boards. I don't have Norton and all the diagnostics come back ok. And I'm thinking it's well past Christmas to not be a traffic problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.
