Last week my virus protection ended and I was flooded with numerous adware, viruses, etc.. I now cannot check my email, delete my email, nor can I even pull up my system restore. (It comes up as a blank page). I downloaded the trial version of Norton but still nothing. I have tried the trial versions of spyware, and spy doctor but it says I have to pay for the subscription for the removal. I am unemployed at this time and my computer is my way looking for a job. If any of you know a way that I can fix this myself without having to pay someone I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you for your help in any way.

Hello donna and welcome to Geeks to Go. Please read and carefully follow all the instructions here and after you have completed all the steps, if you are still having problems (and you may not be) then please start a new topic in the Malware Forum.

donna please do not start a new topic each time you wish to communicate. Just press the blue "Add Reply" button on the bottom right hand side of this post and continue the communication in the one thread. If you wish to discuss a different problem then start a new topic in the appropriate forum relating to that problem.
I have merged your new topic with this one.
Now, back to your response. Could you please clarify for me .... I responded to you around half an hour ago with instructions to carry out a number of steps before posting a Hijackthis log. Are you saying that you have completed all of these steps and generated a Hijackthis log? If this is the case and you are still having problems then you need to start a new thread in the Malware Forum and post your Hijackthis log along with an explanation of the problems you have been experiencing.
The Malware Forum is a very busy board and we have many more requests for help than we have helpers, so please be patient and do not respond in your topic until after one of our Malware experts has responded. If you do not get a response after three days then please make a new post in the The Waiting Room with a link to your post in the Malware Forum.
If you are unclear about any of these instructions please let us know.
