I have to ask for more information.
- how much RAM does your computer have.
- What programs have you added.
- What anti-virus do you use.
- Are you using an instant messenger.
- Have you added any hardware
Thank you.

Please uninstall system mechanic 6.
Even if it does not work it loads at start up and runs in the background.
itunes is also running in the background.
Mcafee is a resource hog and is slowing your computer down.
Bottom line, add at least 512MB of RAM. (better to add 1 GB).

you can then go to personalize and change the theme to vista... this way it will look like vista, but without all the extra pretty crap, and will function much quicker... you may need to adjust your monitor resolution down a bit to make up for the "downgrade"...

go to start menu, then right click on computer, click properties, click advanced settings, click performance, click "for best performance" instead of best appearance... this will change EVERYTHING to classic windows view and will speed things up, Vista uses a ton of ram to process all it's beautiful features...
you can then go to personalize and change the theme to vista... this way it will look like vista, but without all the extra pretty crap, and will function much quicker... you may need to adjust your monitor resolution down a bit to make up for the "downgrade"...
i did it but it didnt speed up my internet thats what i need.
