If I install a TV tuner in my PC I understand that I can download a cable HD (490p or 1080i) TV signal onto my computer harddrive and later transfer it to my HD TV. Is this true or can you only do this with analog?
If I wanted to download more than one program at the same time, could I do it with that one TV tuner, or would I/could I install two TV tuners and be able to download two TV programs at the same time?
Does anyone have a preference in TV tuners to install into a PC? I have heard that "TV Wonder 600" is good, but isn't it an analog tuner? Would I have to go with something like a "PTV-380-EF : Over-the-Air Broadcast HDTV Tuner Card (MCE Certified w/ Remote)"?
I also understand that I have to send the signal that I download into my computer to my HD TV via some kind of component such as a "Slingbox" or an "Xbox 360".
Has anyone out there any experience doing this and can you help steer me in the right direction?
