yesterday, i spent a lot of time following the networking set-up guide exactly to secure my network and connect the printer to the laptop. I did everything, and it all worked until setting up the printer. Everything went through okay, but when I tried to print a test page, it didn't work from either the wired or wireless computers. The error message I got says "the print spooler cannot connect to the printer...the document will print when the printer becomes available." I have a HP Photosmart, which the guide said was typically fussy about connecting. What can I do?

Sorry Sammy
Did not get an email saying you replied.
Ok do you have the printer setup on another computer or is it plugged into your router.
If it is plugged into a computer does it print from that computer?
Are all the computers running XP.
Can you share files across computers?
Cheers
