Today I started getting a "Malware Alert" message on my computer. The infection is "Trojan Adware W32.ExpDwnldr". I tried using the "smitfraud.exe" to remove this infection but it is still in my machine. I also tried starting a "Panda" scan to isolate this problem(as per the tutorial advising this as an alternate means of eliminating the infection). Whenever I tried to start the Panda scan I got a small(second) window that opened that remained blank.

Not sure what to do now.

My computer:

Brand: Premio
OS: Windows Professional 2000
Browser: Firefox 2.0(latest version)
Hard drive: 10 GB
Type of internet connection: broadband(1.5 mbps) (A T & T)
Security: A T & T Internet Security Suite(Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware)

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
