First time poster, so here goes! I have run Windows Live Virus Scan, CA (from Road Runner) and !Avast antivirus software. At the moment they are not picking up any problems. Neither is Windows Defender or Spyware Doctor or the spyware included in CA's suite, however, I am having major issues. Internet Explorer does not run correctly, so I installed Firefox just to get here. IE7 also opens on it's own to web pages out of the blue as well. I have found the MWSSRCAS.dll file on my computer and can't erase it. When I run RegCure it constantly is finding problems and supposedly fixing them, but I am still having the issues of 15 minutes start up time at the beginning of Windows, slow computer performance, and I am being told that parts of my hard drive are corrupt, but chkdsk does not work in cmd mode or reboot mode. Says the volume is locked?
So as you see, I cant find the malware or virus, I cant get any programs to detect or find the problems, and I cannot run chkdsk in any fashion.
I will post my Hijack log, but if anyone has any information about anything I have mentioned above, thank you!
