vista rundll32 error

when opening media player it show a run32dll error, Exact Message "host process (rundll32) has stopped working" can one one help

Welcome to G2G
Click on start type cmd in the run line and press enter to bring up a command window, type in sfc /scannow all your system files will be checked and you will get a report when finished if any have been found corrupt.
Have you installed any new software like Nero before this started to hapen?
If this does not help then we will try adding run32dll to the dep.
I would prefer you to use this 1st.
