Not everyone would want to photograph themselves with the logo. E.g, me.

i actually like the "where do you geek?" idea (which is what i'm calling admin's idea of the G2G logo in interesting places)...it would be sort of like the roaming gnome for trevelocity....

A cool idea would be to photograph your hand with the G2G logo on it... That way there's no way you can cheat, basically.

I like the "jellybean guess" idea since it can be done by everyone as as was said earlier it is near impossible to guess just by a photo of the jar.

Oh and make the jellybean jar filled with one color of beans since it is harder to see.
Preferably a dark color -- like black.

A cool idea would be to photograph your hand with the G2G logo on it... That way there's no way you can cheat, basically.

Too easy to cheat --
All one would have to do is get his/her friend to get the pic with his/her hand painted with the logo.... You can't prove it is your hand..
I do agree however that me posting my pics in public internet is not a good idea...

I would LOVE a laptop, since we only have one computer at home and I can use the laptop for world dominationwhatever I want.

If we are looking to have a contest that emphasises GTG in some way, then Admin's original idea about printing out the GTG logo A4 size and placing it (with no people in the picture) in an obscure place and submitting a photo. The only real downside to this that I can see would be for people who don't have a camera and cannot borrow one. Oh, and then there's the possibility of someone photoshopping the image in rather than placing it in the obscure place.

You can hold it with your hand with your username being written on it... And the fingers being in a certain position But yeah, you could cheat like this. There is no way to prevent cheating, really.
