Vista 32 bit internet image quality really bad

Hi,

I have a toshiba dual core, vista 32 bit laptop. The image quality is really bad, but only when i go on the internet. I have tried to install the latest flash and have adjusted my screen resolutions etc, but nothing seems to work. When i do install flash player it says that it was installed but it doesnt make any difference. I have also tried downloading firefox browser to see if that might fix the issue, because with my previous p.c it did. I have also done a windows complete system update, but still no luck. Is there any one whom had the same problem maybe and know the solution? I am awaiting your response eagerly....

anyone?

Hi, if you are having the same problem as described above, please read the following, it might be something to look into. I am now in touch with my service provider and will update this as soon as i have more info. Here is some info on the problem i found somewhere, hope it helps: Apparently, you are experiencing "image recompression" through your service provider. When you connect over a Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) such as Sprint or Vodafone Mobile Connect, the images are downgraded to reduce the amount of data that is transmitted. The ISP modifies every HTTP request to inject javascript that produces the tooltip you describe.

You should be able to turn off compression with the Vodafone Mobile Connect tool.
