please help video output problem

I have and hp pavilion with the tvnow feature and It wont work. it says check tv cable, baught a new one still nothing, updated video driver nothing, no conflicts with ports,dont know what to do, no help from hp or microsoft, need toget fixed for a power point presentation. can anyone help??????

The TV Now button is for connecting your system to a TV with S-video input. Are you using an S-video cable, and a TV with S-video input? Also, have you changed the TV menu to accept S-video input?
