Personally, I liked the original (prior to this one) much better.

Nope. Hadn't noticed. You can select the classic to use if you don't like what you have now. Only three skins to select from.

I'm not sure regular users can change skins, I remember Admin saying something about members only get the beta layout as the standard one, but Staff can change them. He also said classic will be going away, so you might want to get use to the beta.

Darn. I keep forgetting the "Staff" bit. Using beta now.

Hmm, I like the old version better, with the blue borders etc.

This white/gray/black style, make it look bland somehow.
Its like the "depth" of the side is gone....

Members have the option to change skins by using the drop-down skin selector in the bottom left corner. If you prefer the classic skin feel free to use it. We'll keep it available as long as it's supported. However, I encourage you to try the new skin for a while. I think it will grow on you. If there are specific suggestions to improve it, or any bugs, I'd be happy to respond to them.

Before, I also found myself liking the old skin better. But now that I'm used to the new skin, I don't even remember why I used to prefer the old one!

It just takes time to get used to IMO.

There won't be another new one for awhile. Developing new skins for this place takes time and money.

We will keep the old skin, as Admin said, until we upgrade the forums. Once we do, the old skin will no longer work.
