Hi everybody.
I have an HP DV6736nr laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium. I have all the updates installed (Windows Update says that my system is up to date) but i still haven't been able to install SP1 because it has never appeared on Windows Update.
My current OS version is 6.0.6000 Build 6000.
I've googled around a little bit and found that sometimes sp1 update is not shown because of some imcompatibilty issues with drivers or other stuff, the thing is that i have all my drivers up to date according to HP.
The only two available updates i get from Windows Update (marked as optional) are for the modem and graphic card but i'm not sure to install them because they are made by microsoft (i suppouse) and not by my laptop manufacturer, right?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

SP1 tends to turn up on Windows Updates eventually if you keep refreshing the list of updates.
Failing that, download it manually. Like a lot of other things in Windows, the Update feature doesn't always work properly either :)

You were right. Today the Windows Update agent, misterously, popped up a balloon message saying that new updates were available and one of them was the service pack.
I've installed it and it's working fine.

Thanks
