Laptop slow to boot and load programs

Laptop takes about 5 minutes to boot. Subsequently, loading programs will take 1+ minute to load.
Laptop is HP NX7400 with 1 Gb RAM and SP3.
Laptop runs Zone Alarm Firewall, AVG Antivirus, Ad-Aware and Spybot
I have attached the Hijackthis log file.
