Hi folks, me again,

My computer has started to jam up occasionally, i.e. clicking lose buttons does nothing and I have to reboot. I don't know if this is just a case of memory leakage, some kind of bitrot, or just having the computer on too long (It's on all the time unless I have to go away for a couple of days or have to reboot due to jam, I run AV scan every night as I sleep).
I have run Avast! scan, MBAM, and PCtool's SpywareDoctor w/AV scan, and MBAM and nothing has flagged other than some cookies which I delete with CleanUp!

Machine is a Compaq w/Celeron 600MHz, 512MB RAM. Real-time AV is free Avast!, firewall is COMODO (free, w/o ASSK tulebar (sic)), Antispyware arsneal includes: SpywareBlaster w/SpywareGuard, SpywareDoctor (pctools), SuperAntiSpyware and I can scan w/MaxSecure SpywareDetector as well. I also have MRU Blaster running.

I know its a lot of A/S but they don't conflict, and only one AV realtime is installed(Avast!), though I have a zipped version of Avira Antivir in case Avast! gets disabled and I can't get online. I know not to unzip it w/o uninstalling Avast, it's just nice to have "an Uzi in the closet" for worst-case scenario..
(sidenote: some people accuse SpywareDoctor of false positives, but detecting tracking and adware cookies is fine with me, I then enter their URLs into Avast! for future blocking.)

Back to the problem...The other night (right before this occasional freezing started) I was trying to view a video and downloaded something called zcodec1054.exe.. The video never played and it was late, but something about "codec" made me nervous so I ran a couple of scans and found nothing, but despite having "saved" the file, I can't find zcodec anywhere (other then the downloads log in FF)
Is this a legitimate program or malware? There's also a few things in my hijack this log that look funny(though I'm not really qualified to make this assessment):
One is the last item: SDservice(file missing), and there is a reg entry for Symantec even though I uninstalled Norton a long time ago..

Thanks in advance, the log is below:
