the physical memory in the task manager is always taken. the most it frees up is up to 70MB. i have a total of 4862MB. i have about 80 processes running all the time. i open more then 2 or 3 websites and the CPU usage jumps from 3% to about 70 or 80%. i can't play and videos online without them lagging and the audio get distorted. i don't know what to do. how can i have my computer run faster? how can i free up that physical memory? i have a fast internet, i checked it and the download speed was over 9000kb/sec and upload was over 400kb/sec. everything is working so slow. please help. thank you.

i don't really know what HijackThis is. is that something that will help or is that an informational software?
