Hello,

You can log on as a full admin a few different ways. One way is to simply unhide the true admin logon in a cmd.

click the start menu.
In the bottom search bar type cmd (don't hit enter)

cmd will show in the list on top .. right click on it and click to run as administrator

the command panel will open
type this command exactly as it appears here.. or just copy and paste it in the cmd panel

net user administrator /active:yes

hit enter and it should tell you it completed successfully.

close the cmd panel and log off of windows.

When you log back on you should have a new Admin log on.

Log on as admin and try to run your program that way.

It might be a good idea to keep your regular user logon and use that for normal functioning.
You might also want to create a password for the admin logon and only use that for technical purposes.

Hmm I have tried that already. But the thing is that when the admin confirmation pops out, I cant do anything because there's no admin account to work with....

I disabled the true admin account for some stupid reason and now I dont have any admin account anymore, which means that I cant do anything when the admin confirmation pops up. The only account on my computer right now is a standard user account, nothing more.

So can I revive my "true" admin account in any way?

Unless you had unhidden the true admin account as I showed you you would not have seen it.
A limited account can NOT delete an administrator account.
If you are trying to change your account to an administrator account, or trying to create an administrator account to have elevated privlidges but you do not have the password than I will not help you.
If you have the Windows Vista installation DVD you can save your documents and then reinstall Windows.
Or you can ask the administrator to change your account for you.

Let me go over my situation once more...

A few days ago I managed to log in to the "true" admin account by typing "net user administrator /active:yes" in cmd AND unchecking the option "Account is disabled" for the true admin account. These two steps were done under standard account. And so I deleted my other "fake" admin account.

But for some stupid reason today I CHECKED the option "Account is disabled" for the true admin account. And then I realized that it was a huge mistake by doing it so. "net user administrator /active:yes" is denied in cmd. Whenever the admin confirmation pops out I can't click OK because there's no admin account. I'm wondering if there is any way of reversing it?

Hope this clarifies any confusion.

I am sorry, but I can not help you to bypass any security measures that have given you a limited account.
What you are saying has happened does not make sense.
If you disabled the hidden administrator account, you would still be able to use your original administrator account.
In this case, you may have done something to disable the account but I have no way to verify what you have stated.

UHhh okay....but let me restate my situation...

Right now I only have a limited account to use, nothing more. There is NO other admin account in my computer. The original "fake" admin account got deleted too by me.

Forgot to mention that I disabled the true admin account by checking "Account is disabled" under a limited account. So now I can't do anything to bring back the admin account because there is NO admin account right now. The hidden admin is now disabled. For now, access is denied when trying to uncheck "Account is disabled" and I can't click OK on any admin confirmation.

I'm not sure what else do you need to verify? This is just my home computer and hoping to reverse what I did.

I am sorry, but a limited account can not delete or disable an administrator account.
Please ask the administrator for the password, or reinstall Windows.

I am sorry for your frustration.
If I where to post information on how to hack in to a computer and create an administrator account any one could hack in to a computer that they have no right to administrative privlidges.
You have been a member of this forum since 2005, so you should be aware of this.
