Hi,

I am currently traveling through South America and I it seems that I have unfortunately obtained a Latin virus. I know it's Latin because it speaks to me in Spanish :) After starting up the laptop, it gives me two options, "start windows normally (default)" and "Su computadora ha estado infectado por un virus de la ultima generacion." I'm guessing that means that my computer has been infected by a virus of the latest generation?

So definitely having problems with my XP Home account. As far as I can tell, every application is "restricted by administrator." I can't even start up a game of Hearts. I can't directly start up IE or Firefox. Instead, I either have to use Safe Mode with Networking or I have to indirectly start up IE via clicking on the Windows Update link, and then using that window to google and whatnot.

I had a temporary solution by creating a new admin account and transfering files from the old account, to the new. It worked out pretty well for a couple days, as there was no administrator blocking, but it seems that my luck has run out and this morning, the infection found my new account (I was not connected to the internet at the time it found me).

Here is a list of things I have tried in order (all done in Safe Mode since in Normal Windows Mode, I can't start any application):
System restore (there was no restore point prior to the infection, so I was not able to complete this)
Reboot
Spybot: Search & Destroy
Malwarebytes
SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition
reboot
reboot again
and again...

I have followed the necessary instructions prior to posting my hijack this log (with the exception of the system restore step because the link was bad).

Here is my Hijack this log:
