Ok, so I come home today and I just come home to see that a network
cable has been unplugged. So I look for some kind of break, but there
is none. So I'm thinking, it's probably verizon, but then I call and I find
that I can connect directly to the computer, and not through the router
(what I'm doing now). SO It must be the router. When I plug it in,
modem->router, the light on my modem does not turn on.I have used
multiple ethernet cords and they all do the same thing. By the way, I have
tomato on the router and I'm not going back to the poopy linksys firmware.
Thanks

Check to see that your local area conn has not disabled itself. Network Connections control panel, if you see a red X on it, right mouse click and then left click on enable..
