Hi folks,

I have just bought Wanted on bluray from Amazon, and it came as a BD-Live movie in a tin case. Now I don't mind what the case is made of, and what special features it comes with, the main reason I bought it was to watch the film in high def on my playstation 3.

So I put the disc in, went to movies, and it showed the movie and an icon for Wanted, so I selected it in the usual way. Then it went to a 'Loading' screen, and sat there for about 10 minutes. Now this isn't normal, but I figured since it was a fancy disc I'll let it do what it needs to do. Anyway the menu finally loaded, and it gave me the option to watch the movie, which I happily took.

So about 40 mins into the film, the screen froze for a few seconds, and it jumped to the next scene. I thought this was strange, but I figured it was something similar to when a DVD skips slightly when jumping layers, so I carried on watching. Another 20 mins or so into the movie, it did the same again, but when I checked the time code, it has skipped 10 minutes of the movie!

I tried checking the disc for scratches or dirt which made no difference, I took it out, rebooted the playstation, same result. I always have the latest firmware updates, there is nothing wrong with the network connection, and there are no settings that I can find that offer to randomly skip chunks of the movie, so I can't see what's wrong.

So before I send it back and get a copy of the movie on DVD *shudder* instead, has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for reading.
