Hey guys , I have a problem in that I can't change my home page, each time I do it goes back to the blank MSN one, and I keep getting dropped from my internet connection sometimes in the middle of something or just when I go to email.
I run Norton, stopzilla and noadware, I scan weekly but i can't get out of this rut.

Thanks, rtguard

welcome rtgaurd,

lets take a look at whats running on your computer using a free diagnostics tool called HiJackThis that can be found in my signature. Please download the program, close all open windows and programs, run HiJackThis by hitting the scan button, after it has completed the scan, hit save log, and copy and paste the log back here, someone can help you after that <_<

DO NOT delete or modify any of the results from the scan unless told by a staff member

Please download this to fix the Start.chm Hijack:
http://tools.zerosre...startchmfix.exe
Run it and extract the folder to the desktop preferably.
Open the folder after extracted.
Double click the fix.bat
Please make sure all Internet Explorer windows are closed.
Only run it once or you will lose the backups although they shouldn't be needed.
Notepad will open at the end with a message and the bad file listing at the end. Reboot Windows and delete that bad file.

After, please run APM. Reboot after and reply back with a new log.

Click here to download the Start chm fix.
