Hi all
i wonder if anyone can advise me i keep getting a error message at begining of windows xp professional setting up which says p2esocks-1012dll click to continue when i click mouse windows continues to load what shopuld i do or should i just ingnore it ? i have only a little knowledge of computers so speak to me in simple langage thankyou for your help in advance

Looks like your error is Internet Explorer related. You can ignore it for now.

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

Please save Hijack This in a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):
C:\WINDOWS\System32\MSZTCE.EXE
C:\PROGRAM FILES\SYSTEM SOAP <- this folder
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\p2esocks_1012.dll

Reboot your PC.
